Learning doesn’t have to be complicated.
Schollara is a place for people who want to learn something new, understand something better, or figure out their next step.
We’re not a university, a school, or a team of experts pretending to have all the answers.
We’re simply trying to make useful information easier to find and easier to understand.
A little about me
I’m Jeremy, and I’ve always been interested in learning—especially when it comes to understanding how things work.
I have a BSc in Computer Science and, throughout my career, I’ve continued to study and take professional qualifications, including qualifications in Oracle and Microsoft technologies. This has enabled me to earn a good salary throughout my professional career.

That doesn’t make me an expert in everything we write about here. Far from it.
What it has taught me, though, is how valuable good explanations can be — and how frustrating it is when information is unnecessarily complicated or difficult to understand.
That’s part of the reason I started Schollara.
What you’ll find here
Schollara covers subjects such as education, careers, skills, money, and the practical things that can help you move forward.
The aim is simple: take subjects that can seem complicated, research them properly, and explain them in plain English.
We’re building the site slowly, one useful piece of content at a time. We won’t always get everything perfect, and when we learn something new or find a better way of explaining something, we’ll update it.
If something you find here helps you understand a subject, make a decision, or take the next step, then it’s done its job.

Thanks for stopping by.
Jeremy
